Best Practices

Village committees including men, women and youth are formed and involving them actively in planning and implementation of development programmes by mobilizing their own resources.

Major Issues

Mining/ Industries, Climate Change, Corruption  are the major issues in the operational area.

Where We Work

The operational area at the Jubak Sangha is whole of Orissa. However presently it is limited to five Grampanchayat of Sadar Block under Kendujhar District of Orissa State.

There are 871 families and the total population is around 9842 of which 80% are tribal 2.5% Schedule caste and the remaining are belonging to the other community.

Our Resources

Infrastructural facilities:

The Sangha has its own building with three acres of land and having a training centre and demonstration farm. Negotiation is on the positive with the Govt. to occupy a hundred acres patch to undertake different farm & non-farm activities.

Manpower:

The Sangha has sufficient number of experienced and well qualified staff and a strong group of committed volunteers to execute various development projects. Besides the executive members directly involve theme solves in programme execution as per their expertise in respective sectors.
